I drew a picture of a Bakewell Tart then scanned it into the computer, I coloured it in then found an image of wood grain on the internet. I faded the grain into the background so that the Bakewell looks like it was carved into wood.

I drew a still life of my phone, some scissors and an eraser without any shading. I then scanned it into photoshop and chose the right contrast of black and white.

I then used the magic tool to select areas that i wanted to colour so it would not go over the lines. The opacity of the paintbrush was 10% so i could layer the different shades of paint.

After I coloured the objects I changed the opacity to 5% and used black to layer on the shading around the objects.

I used photoshop to make the photo appear to have a small aperture. I chose a photo of a beach and a photo of Johnny Depp from the internet, then used the magic tool to select around his face. I then blurred the edges of his face and put him on the beach. To make the picture seem to have a small aperture I  blurred the background image and kept Johnny Depp's face in focus.
